The Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom visited the Chelsea Flower Show on Monday, the latest in a series of public appearances that have managed to allay public fears about her health ahead of a national celebration of her seven decades on the throne.

The 96-year-old monarch was transported in a buggy around the Royal Horticultural Society’s annual garden design festival in West London, saving her from having to walk through the show’s attractions.

Britain will celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with four days of spectacle and celebration early next month. Buckingham Palace has already stated that she plans to attend a variety of activities.

She missed her annual address to parliament earlier this month, citing intermittent mobility concerns, according to the palace. She hadn’t been seen in public much since a stay in the hospital in October for an unidentified ailment.
