Maryam Nawaz Launches Youth Employment Drive Across Punjab

On the special direction of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, registration of representatives has begun to dignify young people with employment across Punjab.

The Chief Minister Punjab has stated that Maryam’s initiative will gradually expand to all districts. Services under Maryam’s initiative have started with 10 and will gradually increase to 65. Instead of people visiting offices, all services will be available from home.

Maryam Nawaz said that through the initiative, services will not only be accessible from home but will also eradicate corruption and exploitation. Punjab has entered a revolutionary era of digitalization.

Information technology and artificial intelligence will bring significant and beneficial changes to people’s lives. Hundreds of thousands of young representatives in Maryam’s initiative will provide facilitative services. Through service provision, young people will earn thousands of rupees daily in a dignified manner.

Across Punjab, 523 flour mills, wheat dealers, and retail shops are being checked. Multiple warning notices and penalties have been issued.

For eligibility as representatives, original identity cards, minimum age of 18 years, at least intermediate education, and a mobile phone with internet are necessary.

Clearance certificates from relevant police stations and personal motorbikes with licenses are also required. Training will be provided to incoming representatives.
