The Guinness World Record for “most family members born on the same day” has been set by a Pakistani family, whose nine members all have the same birthday on August 1.

Amir Azad Mangi and his family from Larkana have achieved this extraordinary feat, breaking the record that had been held since 1966 by a five-person American family.

Amir Azad Mangi, his wife Khadija, and their seven children—including two sets of twins—make up the record-holding family.

Mr. Mangi was born on August 1st, 1968; his wife was born on August 1st, 1973; their first daughter Sindhu was born on August 1st, 1992; twin daughters Sassi and Sapna were born on August 1st, 1998; first son Amir was born on August 1st, 2001; second son Ambar was born on August 1st, 2002; and twin sons Amar and Ahmer were born on August 1st, 2003.

It’s interesting that Mr. Mangi’s wedding anniversary also happens to fall on that day, making it a special occasion for the whole family.
