PM announced to give 100,000 laptops to young people on merit

Shehbaz Sharif,  the Prime Minister of Pakistan, announced on Thursday that the federal government would give 100,000 laptops to young people who excel academically across the nation based solely on merit.

The prime minister said this while speaking at a ceremony for the distribution of checks to the Prime Minister Youth Loan Program recipients.

The success of the Youth Loan Program, which in addition to helping young people who are unemployed, also benefited the national economy, according to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is a key factor in the country’s development.

He claimed that the loan programme was a continuation of the PM Youth Loan programme, which was first introduced in 2013 by then-prime minister Nawaz Sharif and distributed billions of rupees to eligible youth.
