Asus ROG Phone 6 launched with high gaming performance

Asus on Tuesday introduced two new phones for the ROG lineup, geared firmly at customers who want the very finest gaming performance from their Android handsets. These are the ROG Phone 6 and the ROG Phone 6 Pro, and the primary enhancements are the display, cameras, and new back screen on the 6 Pro.

With up to 512 GB of UFS3.1 storage and the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processors, both phones are top of the line. The base model comes with 8 GB to 16 GB of RAM depending on which grade you pick, while the Pro model comes with 18 GB as standard.

Both have 6.78-inch screens “Samsung AMOLED with a 2448 x 1080 resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate with Gorilla Glass Victus protection. When compared to the ROG Phone 5S’s 144 Hz display, this is a significant improvement. Additionally, the touch sampling rate has been increased from 360 Hz to 720 Hz, a doubling in itself. ROG Vision display is the back screen of the 6 Pro, and it’s a 2 “You can personalize the OLED screen’s animations for up to six different “scenarios,” or situations, including charging, receiving a call, entering X mode, and so on.
The remarkable 6000 mAh battery seen in the 5S remains in the phones, allowing up to 65 W charging.

Starting in the UK and Europe, the ROG Phone 6 will retail for €999 in Black and White, while the ROG Phone 6 Pro will retail for €1,299 in White.
