Christian Pulisic’s goal in Group B’s decision helped the USA advance to the World Cup’s round of 16.
Pulisic smashed into the Iranian goalkeeper after scoring in the 38th minute, hurting himself.
The US talisman lay in the goalmouth for three minutes while being treated. He returned but was replaced at halftime. Gregg Berhalter offered no update on Pulisic’s injury after the game.
