About one percent of all videos published to TikTok were deleted in the second quarter of 2022, totaling 113,809,300. With 15,351,388 films banned in Q2 2022, Pakistan placed second globally for the most videos removed for breaking Community Guidelines.

According to the details, TikTok has issued its Q2 2022 Community Guidelines Enforcement Report, focusing on its multi-pronged approach to eliminate disinformation on the platform.

The platform’s continuous dedication to being accountable and welcoming is reflected in the report. New investments in digital literacy education and better strategies for combating false news are highlighted in the most recent version of the study.

98% of those videos were deleted before a user reported them, and 97% were deleted before they had any views.
In addition to eliminating accounts for Community Guidelines violations, the platform also deletes spam accounts and any associated spam videos.

It also took preventative measures to stop automated spam account creation. Since the previous quarter, TikTok has removed 58,000 videos from the platform around the world after discovering 33 new false accusations.

Total ads removed in Q2 2022 due to violations of advertising policies and guidelines fell. Improved user and advertiser experiences are a result of efforts to fortify account-level detection and enforcement tactics, which have contributed to the overall success of the advertisements ecosystem.
TikTok has introduced a new penalty system wherein users will receive a strike for violating one of its Community Guidelines, reiterating the company’s commitment to battling disinformation and guaranteeing safety.

If a user continues to submit inappropriate material after receiving a certain amount of strikes, the site will remove their account entirely. The total number of strikes that result in a lifetime suspension is based on the seriousness of the infraction and the total number of strikes that have been accrued.
