A surprising incident occurred in the United States of America (USA) where an elderly woman was initially declared dead by doctors but later regained consciousness after two hours.
The incident occurred in Lancashire County, Nebraska, where a woman living in a nursing home was pronounced dead by staff and doctors were not called. But a mortuary attendant discovered 74-year-old Constance Glantz alive two hours later.
Lancashire County Deputy Chief Sheriff Ben Hoskin says, ‘I’ve been on the job for 31 years and I’ve never seen anything like this.’
The nursing home declared the woman dead at 9:44 am on June 3, after which the body was shifted to the mortuary. when the woman’s lifeless body was placed on the table, a staff member noticed that she was breathing.
The staff immediately referred her for medical attention and transferred her to a hospital, where she is still alive and breathing.
The mortuary staff contacted the paramedics at 11:45 am, 2 hours after the woman was declared dead.
The nursing home’s management has not yet released any statement on the incident, while according to the local police, the woman’s family has been informed about the situation.

The local police have also started investigating the matter and cited that this was a highly unusual case.
