Former President Donald Trump is considering stepping into the 2024 presidential race early, maybe even before the November elections, a source claimed. “There’s discussions about an early launch, and people are planning,” a person close to the ex-commander-in-chief told media on Saturday.

“There are no specifics, but people are preparing,” the person stated. They are doing the preliminary work needed to get things going.

The insider speculated that Trump “might” announce his candidacy before November.

Earlier Saturday, the New York Times and CNN reported that Former President Donald Trump — who launched his initial presidential campaign in June 2015 — is pondering initiating the prospective 2024 effort at an earlier stage in the 2024 election cycle.

The Republican Florida resident grabbed advisers off stride by saying he may disclose his candidacy via social media without giving warning to people who would be part of the bid, according to the report. His team is reportedly working feverishly to set up a campaign infrastructure in time for a possible announcement as soon as this month.

CNN claimed that the 45th president has informed associates he plans to launch his campaign for reelection as soon as this month.

After losing to President Joe Biden in 2020, Trump said last month in the New Yorker that he was “very close to making a decision” on a third presidential run. He also predicted victory in a Republican primary against future rival and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
