DOHA: After the complete initial investigation of Arshad Sharif’s murder, his dead body will reach Pakistan by tonight.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) Office, the slain journalist’s body was flown to Pakistan by a foreign plane. The plane has landed in Doha, and the mortal remains will arrive at Islamabad airport at 1:05 a.m.

Syedah Saqlain, the Pakistani Ambassador to Kenya, was in charge of the airport arrangements after Arshad Sharif’s murder. Arshad Sharif’s widow has stated that the renowned journalist’s funeral will take place on Thursday in Islamabad.

It is important to note that the journalist was killed in Kenya. According to officials, Sharif was shot in the head in a town on the outskirts of Nairobi. According to reports, Kenyan police have confirmed his death and launched an inquiry into his death.
