Images suggest that the Redmi A1 Plus is merely the standard Redmi A1 with the addition of a fingerprint scanner to the back. The backplate of this phone has a leather-like texture, and the front and back are coloured a muted black, blue, and green.

The phone is cheap yet has a solid build quality and several nice features. The big 5000mAh battery, which the manufacturer claims would last for 30 hours of video playback and up to 30 days on standby, is likely the primary selling point of this device.

The screen specifications come in at a close second: an HD+ resolution, 400 nits maximum brightness, 120 Hz touch sampling rate, and a 70% NTSC colour gamut on a flat 6.52-inch IPS panel.

The Redmi A1 Plus has a powerful enough MediaTek Helio A22 processor, together with speedy 3GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, and a PowerVR GPU to handle visual graphics and gaming.

This camera work falls a little short of expectations. The system can record 1080p films at 30FPS with the help of a primary 8MP camera and a secondary 0.3MP depth sensor.

But it may make up for its lack of a camera with the help of artificial intelligence elements included into the Android 12 GO user interface. The 3GB + 32GB model should retail for roughly 19,000 PKR.
