Infinix Hot 20 Series teased; release date, specs revealed
  • Next-generation Infinix Zero 20 will be followed by an update to the company’s affordable HOT series.
  • Hot 20 previews feature a minimalist, contemporary design with a textured backplate.
  • The phone’s 8GB of RAM helps it easily surpass several mid-range competitors.

After the Infinix Zero 20, the business will upgrade its inexpensive HOT line. The Hot 12 line will continue to the Hot 20 line, per their naming policy.

On October 6th, the brand plans to introduce the new product to the public for the first time. The official teasers not only reveal the release date, but also provide key details about the hardware and software that will comprise Hot 20.

The company has been cryptic on social media about whether or not the keynote will announce new models of the same product. Whatever the case, we now have the official information about the Infinix Hot 20 series.

It sports a flat, corner-to-corner 6.78-inch display for use with external displays. The panel is of the IPS variety and can display in FHD+. Further, the new model may be the first in the HOT series to include a 120Hz refresh rate. This also applies to its CPU.

Infinix has not yet announced the price of the Hot 20, which features the company’s first smartphone with the MediaTek Helio G96 CPU (found in the company’s affordable HOT catalogue). Maximum clock speed for the CPU is 2.2GHz.

The phone’s 8GB of RAM helps it easily surpass several mid-range competitors. In addition, the 128GB of storage space can be used in conjunction with the device’s memory fusion technology to create a virtual RAM expansion of up to 5GB.

The Hot 20 previews feature a minimalist, contemporary design with a colour palette of white, light blue, and black. The latest iteration appears to be equipped with a triple camera array on a textured backplate.

Not only is there no “camera bump,” but each camera is housed in its own secluded sphere of its own design. Unfortunately, information regarding the specifics of the camera technology, charging times, and battery capacity is still sketchy at best.

Other than that, Infinix’s next-gen flagship, the Zero Ultra 5G, will be released in a matter of hours. On the evening of October 5th, the Infinix Hot 20 series will be made available to the public. Stay tuned for a comprehensive review as soon as it is available.
