Christina Ricci, who portrayed the famous character of Wednesday in the 1990s film series, will return as Marilyn Thornhill in a cameo.

The series co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers are Alfred Gough and Miles Millar. Tim Burton executive produces and directs four of the eight episodes, with additional directors Gandja Monteiro and James Marshall.
