Marvel Studios has added another well-known name to the casting of the upcoming Disney+ series Agatha: Coven of Chaos. White Lotus and Parks and Recreation actor Aubrey Plaza have been cast in the WandaVision spinoff, according to Variety,

However, Plaza’s part is presently being kept under wraps, so fans will have to wait patiently to find out which character she’ll be playing.

MCU fans have been anticipating the release of Agatha: Coven of Chaos since it was initially announced in 2021. The series, which is planned to premiere on Disney+ in winter 2023, will chronicle the adventures of WandaVision villain Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn).

Unfortunately, Marvel executives are keeping the plot under wraps, so it is unclear when or when the series will take place in the MCU timeline. Plaza and Hahn will reunite in Agatha: Coven of Chaos after previously working together on the hit comedy series Parks and Recreation.

Plaza played April Ludgate in the episode, and Hahn played political strategist Jen Barkley.

However, they aren’t the only actors confirmed to participate in Agatha: Coven of Chaos, as Heartstopper actor Joe Locke, recently joined the cast. Buffy Emma Caulfield, who played Dottie in WandaVision in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, is also expected to appear in the performance.

When WandaVision first broadcast in January 2021, Hahn’s Agatha proved to be a fan favorite, and she was revealed as the series’ true villain. Hahn was later recognized for her role in WandaVision when she was named ‘Best Villain’ at the MTV Movie & TV Awards.
